My wife, Nancy, and I have a great love of the outdoors and spend all of
our recreation time outside. The majority of that time is in the woods; either
mountain biking, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing or backcountry skiing. During the
summer of 2003 we climbed several 14ers in Colorado's Sawatch mountain
range, taking with us a fresh disposable camera each day. At the end of that
trip Nancy said to me, ''I can see you taking up photography in your
retirement.'' And so it began. I'm not yet retired but I've jumped full
force into photography and there's no looking back. Many of the
images in my gallery are taken from around our home in the north woods of
Wisconsin or on many of the wonderful hiking trails within a short drive of
our home. Others come from our vacation adventures in Upper Michigan, Northern Minnesota and the Rocky Mountains.
I tend to gravitate toward nature photography but, as you can see from my various galleries, I don't limit myself.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my photography and please come back again to see what's new.
